It's Robert Mapplethorpe day.

We were lucky to catch the Robert Mapplethorpe exhibit at the Sean Kelly Gallery yesterday. I have been a fan of Robert Mapplethorpe's work for some time and this was a very unique approach to showing his work. They had an array of diverse people that hand picked a photo that they liked and person expressed what that photo meant to them. It was beautiful. Make sure you treat yourself to the exhibit.
