Classic.

Sunny side up! Here is the classic and iconic monokini from Rudi Gerneich. I love this suit. Gerneich invented the topless monokini and also gave us many amazing mod looks from the 1960's and 1970's.  I may have Rudi Gerneich day at the office next week. Anyone who stops by has to wear a replica of the monokini. What do think?

Here is the historic suit photographed for Life Magazine.

Causal right?

Thank you Rudi Gerneich.

Just two simple ladies sitting by the pool.

( Can we bring these back please)

Here is the famous photo of Peggy Moffitt wearing Rudi Gerneich. She is the picture child of the look and the era.

Sweet picture of the day.

Ali Macgraw is style icon. In the 1970's she was the it girl in hollywood and the muse to major fashion trends. Everything she wore was so effortless and chic. I was going through my photos today and of course I found this amazing shot of her laying out in the sun. What a beauty.

In Bloom.

Oh wait! One more amazing photo.

Ladies and Gentlemen the Legendary Elizabeth Taylor.

Today we would like to pay tribute to a glamourous hollywood legend, Elizabeth Taylor. Ms. Taylor was the definition of a hollywood movie star. She used her fame to bring awareness about AIDS and raised millions of dollars for research. Elizabeth Taylor was a real treasure and she will be missed.

I wish we can peak into her diamond collection.

Glamour at the beach.

What a face.

We love this look so much.

We're in Vice Magazine

We are thrilled to be in Vice Magazine's Spring 2011 issue. The photos are by legendary photographer Harry Benson who has shot icons like the Beatles, Frank Sinatra, JFK and other major hollywood greats. Vice stylist and fashion editor Annette Lamothe-Ramos who styled the shoot did an fantastic job with every look.

Check out Vice Magazine's Sunnin' Out by Harry Benson or get your copy.

Here is model Alice Rausch looking red hot and ready for the summer goodness.

Just a simply girl enjoying the sun.

I see london. I see France. I see Rica lifting up her skirt.

Sometimes one suit isn't enough.

Caution! Designer at Work!

We're in the middle of our 2012 development process and it's an exciting time for us because we are consumed with all things creative.

Here's a look at my moods so far.

Just waiting for the sun.

Frida Kahlo

I went to two major Andy Warhol exhibits that were just incredible. They were held at the Brooklyn Museum and the other at the MoMA. Naturally, these exhibits led me to Interview Magazine and I used to collect them when I was a kid. The covers alone had me mesmerized. At the time, Interview magazine was physically a large magazine and was so colorful. I found it defiantly appealing to a fashion obsessed little bug like myself.

You too can make a glamourous look!

I also always had a fling with Cosmo!

I want the cover!!

Picture Perfect.

My Love

Nomi Ruiz

Jessica 6 day! "Let me see you dance"

Go on. Let me see. I'm dancing right now, but when am I not.

I had the pleasure of styling the sexy band Jessica 6 for their video "White Horse". I had the best time working with our muse and my best friend Nomi Ruiz. Nomi's voice and songwriting have been an inspiration in my art, heart and soul. I can't say enough about Andrew Raposo (awesome man) and Morgan Wiley. Not only are they beyond talented but more importantly they both look amazing in motorcycle jackets. I must also mention the wonderful Marco Ovando who directed the video. He has a great eye and brings much joy to any environment. (and he throws a good party) Loved every moment!!

The video premiered on Perez Hilton this week and of course it was beyond exciting!!! Check out Rica on Nomi in the video!!

Warning: You may get off your seat and start to shake your money maker.
